A cultivar with intriguing semi-double slightly nodding bell-shaped pink flowers, 7 cm across. 4 deep pink tepals with numerous staminodes. It flowers in late April and May, as the last cultivar of the group.

In summer it sometimes repeats the flowering. From June to autumn the plant is decorated with fancy fluffy seedheads. It grows up to 2-3 m high and attaches itself to the support by means of twining leaf petioles. Very frost hardy and undemanding. It tolerates partial shade. It’s particularly useful for growing on fences, boulders, old tree trunks and coniferous and deciduous shrubs. It makes good ground cover.
