Calystegia hederacea - Japanese False Bindweed 'Multiplex'
A climbing perennial in the bindweed family Convolvulaceae with very interesting, double, pompon-shaped vivid pink flowers. the blossoms appear from July to September. Arrow-like green leaves are slightly pubescent. Stems twine round the support. In spring, old woody stems should be cut back just at the base of the plant.
Requirements.
It needs moist, well drained humus-rich soil. Best grown in a warm sunny position.
Application.
Excellent for small fences, trellises and other garden supports.
