Calystegia hederacea

A climbing perennial with twining stems. Very interesting, double, ball-like flowers of vivid pink appear from July to September. Arrow-like leaves are downy. In spring, old woody stems should be cut back just at the base of the plant. Best grown in a warm sunny position. It thrives best in soil rich in humus, well-drained and moist but not water-logged. Excellent for small fences, trellises and other garden supports.pl
