Hedera helix 'Goldheart'

Hedera helix

A moderately fast growing climber attaining a height of 20 m, with 0,5 - 1 m of annual growth. A very long-lived plant, valued and grown for its handsome evergreen leaves of deep green. It attaches itself to supports by means of aerial roots. It is best grown in shade or partial shade. In a sunny position it may freeze during severe winters. It's ideally suited for growing over pergolas, walls or trees, and makes a good ground cover plant, replacing lawn in shades areas, e.g. at the base of the trees. It perfumes poorly in dry or acidic soil. pl
