A very early-flowering variety of a moderate growth. Large lavender-blue flowers with contrasting yellow stamens are borne in great profusion from mid-May to June and again in September. Forms lovely compositions with yellow flowering azaleas or yellow leafed shrubs.Raised by Goos & Koenemann, Germany 1905.
