A compact variety. Deep purple-mauve semi-double flowers with a paler mauve-blue bar in May-June, borne on previous year’s wood. Single flowers on new growth in July-August. Requires sunny positions. An excellent clematis for growing in a container or in a small garden.Raised by J. Treasure, United Kingdom.
