One of the oldest varieties, raised in England in 1875. Lavender-blue flowers with a pink mottling and deep red stamens. Sepals with crimpled margins in early blossoms.
When lightly pruned (2), it flowers May-June, whereas after hard pruning (3) it blooms from July to October.
