A strong-growing climber forming a dense tangle of glabrous stems clothed with bright green leaves. From July to October the loose panicles of small, pure white, star-shaped flowers with delicious almond scent are abundantly scattered over the whole plant, followed in autumn and winter by silky seed heads.
Suitable for growing over fences, pergolas, arbors and walls – in sunny, warm and sheltered positions. Not very hardy - it can freeze during harsh winters.
On account of its sweet scent it’s an ideal climber for planting near windows, park benches and other popular places of social gatherings.
