A herbaceous perennial with raised, stiff stems, that don’t twine round supports, but they can lean against them. Small, tubular, sweetly scented, mid blue-mauve flowers, are produced in large clusters (similar to that of a hyacinth) and located in the leaf axils, July to September.
Ideal for scrambling through perennials and shrubs.
