A healthy and very free-flowering cultivar growing up to 3m. Charming, wine-red, semi-nodding flowers with delicately veined tepals, borne from July to September. Greenish-yellow anthers. It needs a site in full sun, but has low soil requirements. Best planted near small trees or shrubs, arbors and various supports. It may be used as ground cover.
