One of the earliest and most profusely flowering varieties. Charming, semi-double, mauve flowers with deeper mauve streaks, produced from April to June. During summer and autumn they are followed by decorative silky seed heads that become fluffy and gray with age. A very hardy plant with low requirements.
Ideal for growing over fences, walls, or scrambling over rocks and old stumps. Particularly useful for planting near small trees and coniferous or deciduous shrubs. Makes good ground cover.

Raised by J. Lindmark, Sweden.
Introduced in 1981.
