A vigorous climber with evergreen dark glossy leaves. White fragrant flowers, 5-6 cm across, appear from March to May. Plant in a sheltered site. It’s cold-resistant, and will tolerate temperature down to -12oC. It’s particularly recommended for winter gardens.Raised by L. Burbank, United Kingdom 1896.
