A popular climber with ornamental flowers: tubular, fragrant, light violet-red outside and creamy within, borne in clusters from May to July and again July - October. Attractive, bright red berries produced during September and October. Reaches a height of 3m with 1-2m of annual growth. It doesn't have any special soil requirements. An excellent all-purpose climber, well suited for scrambling over arbors, pergolas and other supports.
