A Polish cultivar with shapely, large, brightly pink flowers with yellow stamens. Recommended for growing over low garden supports and in containers on balconies and terraces.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Flowers 11-17 cm in diameter, bright candy pink, consisting in 6-8 wide sepals with slightly overhanging tips. Stamens have yellow anthers on cream filaments. Bloom profusely from June to July, sometimes repeat flowering in September. Dark green, large and matt leaves. New shoots are purple-green.

HOW IT GROWS: A climber using petioles as a means of support. It grows fairly strongly, reaching 1.5-2 m in height.

WHERE TO PLANT: It enjoys bright but not heated sites. Blooms most abundantly on fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained (not waterlogged) soils. The soil pH should be neutral to slightly acidic. Hardy (zone 4-9).

HOW TO PLANT AND GROW: Place the plant in a hole (60 x 60 x 60 cm) with fertile soil and a 10 cm layer of drainage at the bottom, 5-10 cm deeper than it was in the container (planting instruction). Only light pruning recommended. At the turn of February and March, it is sufficient to remove dead shoots, and live ones can be pruned lightly, above strong buds: in the first year 30 cm from the ground, in the second year ˗ 70 cm, and in the following years at 150 cm (pruning tutorial). It should be fertilized in mid-April with a slow-release solution (e.g .Osmocote 5˗6M). Water throughout the season.

HOW TO APPLY: This cultivar is useful for growing on trellises, obelisks and other low garden supports. It can climb over natural supports, e.g. deciduous or coniferous shrubs and dwarf shrubs that do not require hard pruning. Recommended also for container cultivation.
