A Polish cultivar with pale violet shaded flowers with a broad central violet bar, borne in profusion from June to August. The sepals have slightly frilled edges. The stamens consist of creamy filaments bearing violet anthers. A vigorous clematis that can grow up to 3-4 m. Suitable for growing over fences, arbours, trellises, poles and other garden supports. Ideal for creating screens or training into trees. The effect is truly striking when it’s planted against a fair background.
