Flowers white or cream-coulored when fading, gathered in 25-35 cm long panicles, delicately scented., Being one of the earliest varieties it blooms in May on previous year shoots. Leaves are light green in spring and summer, yellow in autumn, pinnately compound, usually consisting of 13 narrow ovate leaflets. Shoots twine clockwise around supports. Tends to freeze during harsh winters. Flowers borne in the 2nd-3rd year after planting. The plant reaches 2-2.5 m height. Blooms most abundantly in sheltered, warm and sunny spots. Tolerates average soils. 

Suitable for growing along solid supports, e.g. trellises, arbours and pergolas.
