A new, Polish, healthy and low-maintenance variety. Pink, single flowers with a lighter, almost white central bar appear from late spring until early September. Excellent for screens and planting near various types of garden supports.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Medium-sized flowers, 8–10 cm in diameter. Composed of 4–6 pink sepals with a lighter, almost white bar in the middle. Stamens with yellow anthers. Blooms from late May to the end of August. Flowers appear at a height of 1.8 m from the plant’s base.

HOW IT GROWS: A climber; climbs using leaf petioles. Reaches up to 3 m in height.

WHERE TO PLANT: A hardy and undemanding variety. Prefers well-lit, sunny spots in the garden. Grows best in fertile, moderately moist soils, but also tolerates average or even poor soils. Soil pH should range from neutral to slightly acidic. Fully frost-hardy (zones 4–9).

HOW TO PLANT AND MAINTAIN: Plant in a pit (60 × 60 × 60 cm) filled with fertile soil and a 10 cm drainage layer at the bottom. Plant 5–10 cm deeper than the plant was growing in the container (see planting tutorial). Easy to grow. In early spring (Feb–Mar), remove old stems and cut back newer ones to 20–50 cm above the ground (see pruning tutorial). In mid-April, apply a slow-release fertilizer (e.g., Osmocote 5–6M). Water during the growing season.

HOW TO APPLY: Perfect for screens, fences, and all kinds of garden supports. Looks attractive when planted among shrubs or conifers. Can be used as ground cover. Suitable for public greenery.
